TEN DAY RULE EXPLAINED
With Limited fields only (daylight) for Winter events the Committee want to give every Lincolnshire professional a chance to play for points in the Lite~Ride Winter Order of Merit. To this end Out of County professionals can only enter, if places avilable, 10 days before and upto the event. As an example non Lincolnshire pro's can enter Stoke Rochford (14th February) from 4th February. Lincolnshire pro,s need to enter NOW for this event.
PING PARTNERSHIP WITH LINCS PGA GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH
PING have traditionally supported the Karsten Bowl. They have extended that support to further enhance the PING Order of Merit recognising the endeavours of County golfers, starting the beginning of May through to September. Dave Fanning, representing the PING organisation, stressed the importance of the partnership expressing the company's wishes that the bond continues for many years to come.
CHAMPIONSHIP DATES FINALISED
Three important dates for your diary are the confirmed dates for the Lincolnshire Championships. They are :- The Karsten Bowl (36hole strokeplay), Monday, 30th July, Kenwick Park, the Lincolnshire Open, Thursday 6th September, Holme Hall and the Match Play Championships, Monday and Tuesday 15th and 16th October at Sleaford.

The Lincolnshire Pga, together with other Regions and County Associations, is adopting a website and e-mail as its main communications vehicles. Royal mail will be used in exceptional circumstances. Professionals are requested to keep the relevant parties aware of any e-mail address changes.
